Holy shee-ite. I'm in total agreement with you there. I just returned from GA where it's more humid than a steam room, but it's only in the 80's. I'd say it's six of one and half dozen of the other, frankly. "Humid" isn't necessarily worse. At least you don't dessicate on your way to the car. I suspect they're trying to console themselves. OTOH, it does get a lot cooler here at night. Again with the 6/half dozen cliche.
